PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface cleaning device for a tape-shaped or sheet-shaped product, which is simple in construction, easy to install and inexpensive, and which can freely set up a load by a cleaning roller on the tape-shaped or sheet-shaped product. SOLUTION: The surface cleaning device is provided with an arm 4 rotatably supporting at least a pair of cleaning rollers 3 at predetermined spaced intervals so that the arm extends across the tape-shaped or sheet-shaped product, and support members 5 and 6 which can rotatably support the arm 4 in different lever ratios so that one side of the rollers 3 comes in contact with the surface of one side of the tape-shaped or sheet-shaped product 1 and the other side of the rollers with the surface of the other side respectively.
