PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-mode portable electronic apparatus for reproducing external AV data without executing OS in order to solve various problems in a conventional technology.

SOLUTION: This method for outputting the AV signal of the portable electronic apparatus includes a step (a) to select a source to output the AV signal of the portable electronic apparatus and a step (b) to make the portable electronic apparatus output the AV signal to be generated by the portable electronic apparatus itself and the AV signal to be inputted from the outside according to the selection of the step (a).
