<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting an electromagnetic field for tracking the position and orientation of a probe such as a catheter whose transverse inner diameter may be not greater than 2 mm. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is a device to detect an electromagnetic field at one point, and comprises (a) two detection elements being grounded, each of which includes the first and second lead wires and the first lead wires of both elements are electrically connected to each other, and (b) a differential amplifier to which the second lead wires are electrically connected to different input terminals of the differential amplifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
