<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano hammer with which a desired hardness distribution of a string striking member can be easily realized and moisture absorption can be suppressed and ample sound volume and good sound quality can be thereby stably obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The hammer 1 of the piano strikes a string S by rotationally moving as a key 10 is touched. The hammer is equipped with: a hammer shank 2 which rotationally moves as the key 10 is touched; a shaft-shaped hammer wood 4 which is attached to the hammer shank 2; and a string striking member 5 which is composed of a plurality of kinds of synthetic resin having different hardnesses, in which the plurality of kinds of the synthetic resin are combined with each other so as to realize the prescribed hardness distribution and which is attached to the top end of the hammer wood 4 and strikes the string S with the rotational movement of the hammer shank 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
