<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imageprocessing device, provided with a function for controlling the code amount of code data, after compression so as to be matched with the target size. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a coding section conducting compression coding for data on an image, and generating code data consisting of a header portion having information on the code amount and the data sequence of a code; and a code amount control section, consisting of: a comparison means for comparing the data sequence amount of the code of the code data with a specified amount; a data deletion means for deleting the data sequence of the code to obtain the specified amount, when determination is made in that the data sequence amount of the code is higher than the specified amount; an information up date means writing information for detecting the tail of the data sequence of the code in decoding on at least one of the tail of the deleted data sequence or the header portion; and an output means for outputting the code data processed by the data deletion means and the information up date means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
