<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matting agent which is produced from an inexpensive natural material as a base and which has superior long-term preservation stability, adhesion, hot-water resistance (water resistance), beef-tallow resistance (fat-and-oil pollution resistance) and the like and can give a high grade feeling when it is used for a coating and an ink to be applied to coat plastic molded articles, metal products, woodworks, papers, film products and the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the matting agent, a polyolefin which is obtained by graft-polymerizing 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin with 0.1 to 20 pts.wt. of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its anhydride, is applied to coat a cellulose powder, being a natural polymer, in a ratio within the range of 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the cellulose powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
