PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus such as a base station apparatus provided with e.g., an adaptive array antenna capable of carrying out antenna calibration with high accuracy even when the array antenna is configured with many antennas. SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus is provided with a plurality of antennas I1 to IM for calibration used for executing calibration processing with respect to a system comprising the antennas A1 to AN used for wireless communication, and an antenna system calibration processing execution means uses the plurality of antennas I1 to IM for calibration as the array antenna to execute the calibration processing with respect to the antenna system.
