PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer robot capable of realizing a more accurate linear moving stroke with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A driving mechanism 3 includes a first link arm 31 rotatingly driven in a horizontal plane around a first vertical axis O1 on a moving stroke GL in a guide member 1, and a second link arm 34 having one end rotatably connected in a horizontal plane to this first link arm 31 and having the other end rotatably connected in a horizontal plane to a moving member 2. The first link arm 31 and the second link arm 34 are linked so that a locus of a connecting part of the second link arm 34 and the moving member 2 coincides with the moving stroke GL of a horizontal straight line shape when rotatingly driving the first link arm 31.
