PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a plurality of call controls between telephones connected to a network. SOLUTION: A call control system includes a client terminal 101 having WWW browser function, a WWW server 102 for sending a screen for specifying a call destination telephone and a call-originating telephone to the client terminal 101, and a gatekeeper unit 103 for registering the WWW server 102 and the telephone number data of the call-originating telephone. If the call request including the designation of the call destination telephone and the call-originating telephone is received from the client terminal 101, the WWW server 102 sets a call channel in a pseudo-manner, between the call originating telephones via the gatekeeper unit 103, and establishes the call channel between the call destination telephones to the call-originating telephone, before the call channel is established.
