PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect a data block boundary by detecting the boundary of a correction block that is not dependent on a sector ID. SOLUTION: When a synchronous signal frame is generated by modulation processing and the addition of a synchronous signal for a correction block constructed by adding error correction codes to a plurality of data blocks containing at least addition information and recording information, a first synchronous signal is supplied to a synchronous signal frame located on the boundary of the correction block, and a second synchronous signal is supplied to a synchronous signal frame located on the boundary of a data block.
