PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disturbance of the progress of rail pressure in a switching process between two different closed-loop control modes, by improving a well-known method for closed-loop controlling pressure in a fuel accumulator of an internal combustion engine, a well-known computer program, and a well-known device for executing the method. SOLUTION: In a closed-loop control circuit related to the switching process for executing the switching process, closed-loop controllers of the closed-loop control circuit are opened by being controlled by switching input signals predetermined individually for each switching process instead of the input signal up to now. The predetermined switching input signals are formed so that the closed-loop controllers transfer from an instant operation state defined by an instant closed-loop control mode to a future operation state defined by a future closed-loop control mode in a desired method.
