OIL PAN STRUCTURE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pan structure capable of dispensing with separately mounting an oil pump on a cylinder block and increasing rigidity by reducing the size and weight of the cylinder block. SOLUTION: An oil pan 6 is installed on the lower surface of the cylinder block 1 and can accumulate an oil therein. An oil pump housing 7 is formed integrally with the oil pan at its right side 6a inside by casting. Also, a rib 14 joining the right side face 6a to the left side face 6b of the oil pan 6 is formed in the oil pan 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
