PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cation-dyeable spontaneously elongating polyester multifilament which can stably be produced and gives final products having soft and bulky hands, after dyed, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a fiber product using the same. SOLUTION: This cation-dyeable spontaneously elongating polyester multifilament satisfies a requirement (a): -4<BWS<0, a requirement (b): -5<HAS<0, and a requirement (c): 19<DS×√DE, wherein, BWS is a shrinkage rate (%) when treated in boiling water; HAS is a shrinkage rate (%) when treated in boiling water and then subjected to a dry heating treatment at 180°C; DS is a breaking strength (cN/dtex); DE is a breaking elongation (%).
