PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe petroleum tank that suppresses occurrence of a sloshing phenomenon even if an earthquake takes place and that prevents fire from breaking out. SOLUTION: The petroleum tank avoiding the sloshing phenomenon is so arranged that a shaft (d) is fitted on a floating roof (a), and a roof (c) and a shaft holding member (e) are separately fitted on the tank.
