BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MEASURING DEVICE AND PULSE WAVE MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical human body information detecting device and a pulse wave measuring apparatus wherein a restriction on a condition of usage can be relaxed without a hefty shading structure. SOLUTION: The pulse wave measuring apparatus 1 is constituted so that when a light is emitted from an LED 31 to a finger, the light penetrates to a blood vessel to be reflected while a main body of the apparatus 10 is attached to an arm with a wristband 12 and a detection device 30 is attached to a finger with a sensor fixing band 40. The reflected light is received by a photo-transistor 32 and a volume of the received light is made to correspond to the blood volume variation generated by the pulse wave of blood. Also, a blue LED is used for the LED 31 with an emission wavelength peak of 450 nm and the received light wavelength region of the photo-transistor 32 is set to a wavelength region between 300 nm and 600 nm.
