<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating system whereby safety with respect to leakage of a flammable gas is secured, and a cost for maintenance is made inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell power generating system is provided with a fuel cell stack 7, a hydrogen rich gas supply means 1 to supply a hydrogen rich gas, a flammable gas detector 22 to detect leakage of the hydrogen rich gas or its raw material in a package 18, a flammable gas introduction pipe 23 to introduce the hydrogen rich gas or the raw material, and a control device 17 are provided in the package 18. By this control device, the flammable gas or the raw material is jetted out from the flammable gas introduction pipe, and whether the function of the flammable gas detector is normal or not is self-diagnosed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
