<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus of a fuel cell system by which an ion stripping device of long life is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The ion stripping device 21 is constructed of a front stream side tube 26 and a back stream side tube 27. Porous plates 30a, 30b are arranged vertically in the inner space of the front stream side tube 26 and an ion exchange resin 31a is filled between the porous plates 30a, 30b. At the same time, in the similar structure, porous plates 30c, 30d are provided vertically in the inner space of the back stream side tube 27, and an ion exchanger resin 31b is filled between them. In the porous plates 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d, holes (not described) are open numerously on the whole surface, and the total cross section of the holes provided in one sheet is 0.5-6 times the water passing minimum cross section of the water inlet part 28 and the water outlet part 29. Since the total cross section of the holes provided in the porous plate is appropriate, the ion water flows in the ion exchange resin uniformly, and whole water is effectively utilized, thereby an ion stripping device 21 of a long life can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
