<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of sufficiently increasing reduction efficiency of an exhaust gas purifying means such as NOx catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device 1 for purifying exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine is provided with an injector 12 for injecting fuel 13, fuel reforming catalyst 11 for reforming fuel 13 injected from the injector 12, and a turbocharger 8 arranged on the downstream side of the fuel reforming catalyst 11 in an exhaust pipe 7. This device is constituted to cause shading in concentration of fuel 13 injected by the injector 12 relative to the direction crossing the direction of exhaust gas flow on the fuel reforming catalyst 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
