PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation thermometer for enhancing measurement accuracy and measurement reliability by removing error factors depending on element performance of electronic circuit components or circuitry, and the effect of environmental temperature. SOLUTION: This radiation thermometer is equipped with an infrared sensor for outputting a sensor output signal corresponding to the amount of infrared rays radiated from a measuring object, a temperature sensor provided in a state of contacting with the infrared sensor for outputting a sensor temperature signal corresponding to the temperature of the infrared sensor itself, a control part for receiving the output signal and the temperature signal to calculate the temperature of the measuring object based thereon, and a contact leak current prevention means for preventing a leak current from affecting the output signal, the leak current arising due to contact between the temperature sensor and the infrared sensor when the output signal is given from the infrared sensor to the control part.
