PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watch capable of holding a winding crown so as not to be rotated carelessly by utilizing screw engagement without being restricted by the function of a watch movement, and improving durability, and enabling light screw locking operation of the winding crown. SOLUTION: In this watch 10, the winding crown 31 connected to a winding stem 36 for transferring a torque to the watch movement 13 in the case 14 is engaged with a male screw part 24 of a pipe 21 fitted on the case 14, to thereby hold the winding crown 31 nonrotatably. The winding crown 31 is equipped with a winding crown spindle 32 interlocked with the winding stem 36, a winding crown head 33 for rotating the winding crown spindle 32 in the state where engagement is detached, and a clutch means 34. The winding crown head 33 has a female screw part 38 engaged detachably with the male screw part 24. The clutch means 34 links the winding crown spindle 32 to the winding crown head 33 so as to prevent rotation of the winding crown spindle 32 in the state where engagement is finished, and links the winding crown spindle 32 to the winding crown head 33 so as to be able to drag the winding crown spindle 32 in the state where the engagement is detached.
