PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FBG type strain sensor capable of detecting a displacement of an object to be measured by an FBG even when a very small stress is impressed due to the displacement of the object to be measured. SOLUTION: The FBG type strain sensor 1 is provided with an optical fiber 114 in which a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) 113 is formed. The FBG type strain sensor 1 is provided with two detecting plates 2a, 2b, which are displaced according to the object to be measured, at a distance from each other.
