PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light adjusting device capable of regulating the aperture diameter of a shutter blade and also setting the aperture diameters of a plurality of shutter blades with simple structure without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: In the light adjusting device having the shutter blade used also as a diaphragm blade to open/shut a photographing optical path and a rotatable actuator to open/shut the shutter blade, capable of moving in an optical axis direction and regulating the aperture diameter of the shutter blade in accordance with the movement in the optical axis direction, regulating means to regulate the aperture diameter of the shutter blade are provided on the actuator and a straight advancing member arranged on the outer periphery of a shutter.
