PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding cassette devised for a user not to set the position of a cassette cursor improperly mistake in simple constitution. SOLUTION: A positioning member 5 is shaped symmetrical concerning a virtual axis X1 along the sheet feeding direction shown by an arrow C. Upper and lower surfaces of the positioning member 5 are changed over to each other by rotating them by 180 degrees concerning this axis. A groove part 2b respectively corresponding to sheet sizes in centimeters and inches is provided on a corner part on the upstream side in the sheet feeding direction on the upper surface before and after the change-over. A drawing (a) shows a state where the groove part 2b corresponding to the sheet size in centimeters is set and a drawing (b) shows a state where the groove part 2b corresponding to the sheet size in inches. Consequently, it is possible to change the sheet sizes in centimeters and inches over to each other, and accordingly, the groove parts corresponding to each of them never approach each other and it is possible to prevent the user from setting the position of the cassette cursor improperly.
