Preparation of three-dimensional tissue and organ cultures, useful as implants or for producing tissue or organ-specific substances, comprises use of cell aggregates generated from adult stem cells

Preparation of three-dimensional multicellular tissue and organ culture systems using mammalian cell aggregates, is new. The systems are developed from organoid bodies produced by aggregation of multipotent or pluripotent adult stem cells, which comprise at least two different types of differentiated cells. An independent claim is also included for a three-dimensional, multicellular tissue and organ culture system prepared by the new method.
