<p>The present invention relates to a self-enclosed note-handling apparatus designed for automatic cash register systems (3), which apparatus (1) comprises a propulsion device (5) and a means of transportation (7) for storage of notes (9) in the apparatus (1) and for transportation of notes (9) in and out of the apparatus (1) through an opening (11) arranged for each denomination by means of a control device (13) arranged for the apparatus (1) and for the said automatic cash register system (3) and on the basis of an amount determined by a cash register (19), in which a sensor device (15), for detecting notes (9) that are fed in and issued, is arranged at the said opening (11) and is connected electronically to the said control device (13). The sensor device (15) comprises a separate sensor (21) arranged to check the presence of each note (9) and to determine the content of each note (9) at item level.</p> |
