<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate in which no light leak exists in a heat resisting test, no decolorization occurs in a moisture resisting test, no crack is generated after a durability test and high durability is provided. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing plate is characterized by a polarizer protecting film made of an amorphous olefin resin film which is of at least a laminated construction comprising of material whose high-tensile is 0.05 to 1.0N/mm while it is stretched by 1%. Moreover, the polarizing plate includes the same polarizing plate in which an area holding percentage after heating it for 500 hours at 90°C is equal to or more than 96%. Furthermore, the polarizing plate is included in which amorphous olefin resin is a norbornene resin or an olefin-maleimide coploymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
