<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrench with a cover for preventing the pouring of liquid or the like and a drain cap by which a fastener can be removed while preventing a worker from being poured with leaked liquid and gas even if inner pressure is applied when the fastener such as the drain cap mounted to the tip part of piping is loosened and removed, and the safety of the work can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The wrench with a cover for preventing the pouring of liquid or the like is provided with a body part 4, which has an engaging part 2 engaged with the fastener 16 such as the drain cap having a screw part on the tip side of a rod part 1, and a cover member 5 which is mounted to the body part 4 and surrounds the surroundings of the engaging part 2.
