摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten redundancy switching time when a fault occurs and to realize a default gateway redundant system and a layer 2 redundant system by using a common protocol as to a node which functions as a current system or a standby system by being combined with another node and is capable of connecting first and second networks. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting/receiving part 15 transmits/receives existence information or the like indicating the existence state of each node 100 through a first network, and a redundancy control part 11 performs redundancy switching to another node on the basis of the existence information received from the transmitting/receiving part 15 in order to secure a communication route between the first network and a second network. When the transmitting/receiving part 10 transmits/receives link state information indicating the up or down of a link on the second network side of each node 100, the redundancy control part 11 performs redundancy switching to another node on the basis of the link state information in order to secure the communication route between the first and second networks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
