PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of avoiding or suppressing the accumulation of deposit at the jet hole part of an injector for cylinder injection while having a structure formed of both the injector for cylinder injection and an injector for suction air passage injection. SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine comprises two types of injectors, that are, an injector 11 for intake port injection injecting a fuel into an intake port 14a and the injector 12 for cylinder injection directly injecting the fuel into a cylinder (combustion chamber C). To prevent the fuel injected through the injector 11 for intake port injection from adhering to the jet hole port 12a of the injector 12 for cylinder injection, a protective wall PB is projectedly formed on a straightline connecting the jet hole part 12a of the injector 12 for cylinder injection to the intake port 14a.
