PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat cover device for a load stabilizer attachment capable of taking-in of a seat cover and its extension in dangling automatically by making the most of the functions of members constituting the load stabilizer attachment, i.e. in such a way as interlocking with the elevating/sinking motions of a hold-down plate. SOLUTION: The seat cover device is structured so that a fork 3 is mounted overhead on the lower front face of a base frame mechanism member 2 of this load stabilizer attachment installed capable of rising and falling along a mast 1, and the load stabilizer attachment of the fork lift is structured so that the hold-down plate 4 to be actuated to make rising and falling by a clamp cylinder 6 is mounted overhead in the upper part of the base frame mechanism member 2, wherein the hold-down plate 4 is fitted with the seat cover 10, at least capable of being extended dangling from the front end of the hold-down plate, and the cover and the base frame mechanism member are coupled together by a towing wire 9 running around a pulley 8 mounted on a member whose middle part rises and falls in following-up after the elevating/sinking motions of the clamp cylinder 6.
