FLAT ANTENNA AND ANTENNA UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat antenna and an antenna unit which has excellent mass productivity and utility without causing the degradation of antenna properties even when used in a different type of use. SOLUTION: A flat antenna 10 is provided with: a dielectric mounted on an earth plate; a patch 24 which is formed on an upper part of the dielectric and has a flat shape matching a circular polarized wave of a specified frequency; a feeding means capable of exciting the circular polarized wave at a feeding point 24c provided on the patch 24; and a conductor pattern 20 of an oblong shape which is arranged facing and adjacent to the patch 24 in the emission direction of the circular polarized wave. The conductor pattern 20 has almost the same longitudinal direction to a direction in which the maximum electric field intensity is obtained in a state without conductor pattern when the circular polarized wave is excited in the patch 24.
