PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conform the centers of measure forming bodies moving along a measuring direction, and to keep a space between the measure forming bodies in very small value. SOLUTION: This optical rotation angle sensor is provided with the first measure forming body 1 having a translucent area and an opaque area on a surface, and rotatable measuring-directionally, and the second measure forming body 2 arranged stationally. The two measure forming bodies 1, 2 are arranged opposedly with the prescribed space. A guide part is provided between the measure forming bodies 1, 2 to bring the condition where the centers of the measure forming bodies 1, 2 are accurately conformed at any angular position, without depending on a bearing, the measure forming bodies 1, 2 are thereby kept under the condition with the centers consistent each other, and are held with the space.
