PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture simple measuring method suitable for measuring moisture in mortar or concrete in the plasticized state, capable of grasping the accurate moisture quantity simply in a short time with a very small amount of sample almost regardless of experience, skill or the like of a measuring person, and suitable also for measurement on an execution field. SOLUTION: Water is extracted by an organic solvent from the mortar or the concrete in the plasticized state, and a part of the extract is collected. Then, the collected extract is put into a reaction vessel having a fixed volume, and sealed after adding thereto one of calcium carbide, calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, and the pressure of a gas generated by a reaction is measured by a pressure sensor or the like.
