A magnetic core (MC) (9) is integrated in a printed circuit board (1). Top (3) and bottom (5) strip conductor layers form a winding and are through-hole plated at corresponding points so as to form a continuous winding. As an alloy with a main part of cobalt or iron, the MC also has a rod or cubed shape and is encased by an insulating strip conductor base material (7) like a rigid plastic resin. An independent claim is also included for an antenna with a coil.
