PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact combustion device of a simple structure capable of properly performing the combustion.

SOLUTION: In this combustion device 10 for a fuel reforming device capable of reforming a material gas flowing in a reforming pipe by supplying a combustion gas 32 to an outer peripheral side of the reforming pipe, a burner cone 24 having a plurality of air blowout holes 24b is mounted on an upper end of a base inner cylinder 16 connected with a lower end of a flue 11 and supplying air 25, a core 27 is accommodated in the burner cone 24, a flame holding space 31 is formed between the burner cone 24 and the core 27, and a fuel gas supply pipe 19 capable of supplying fuel gas 28 to the flame holding space 31 and a combustion fuel supply pipe 20 concentrically mounted in the fuel gas supply pipe 19 for supplying the combustion fuel 29 from an upper space in the fuel gas supply pipe 19 to the flame holding space 31 are mounted at a lower part of the burner cone 24.
