<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To harmonize the cost reduction and the miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: This heat exchanger is composed of a heat radiation-side gas flow channel 1-jB through which a heat radiation-side gas 8 passes, and a heat receiving-side gas flow channel 1-jA which is thermally joined with the heat radiation-side gas flow channel 1jB and through which a heat receiving-side gas 17 passes. A material for the heat radiation-side gas flow channel 1-jB is described as a multiple value function applying a flow channel point of the heat radiation-side gas flow channel 1-jB as a variable. A first value of binary of the multiple value function is a heat-resisting high-cost material, and a second value of the binary is a non-heat resisting low-cost material having the heat resistance and the cost lower than those of the heat-resisting high-cost material.
