PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform lamination of high quality causing no wrinkles by minimizing the press flaw or scuff marks remaining on the surface of a flat plate-shaped member. SOLUTION: A drive roller 25 is rotated at a constant speed in a clockwise direction while a follower roller 26 is spaced apart from the drive roller 25 and not rotated. A controller 38 controls drive motors 35 and 36 so that the tensile force F1 applied to a laminated film 15 with release paper 17 and the tensile force F2 applied to the release paper 17 become same. When an imaging plate 10 is inserted in the gap between the drive roller 25 and the follower roller 26, the follower roller 26 is rotated so as to follow the drive roller 25 to bond the laminated film 15 to the back 10b of the imaging plate 10. The tensile force F3 applied to the laminated film 15 is detected by a tension detector 47 and the tensile force F1 is made relatively weaker than the tensile force F2 corresponding thereto by the controller 38 so that the laminated film 15 is not excessively tensioned and loosened.
