PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a rear side portion of a vehicle, which has a strong supporting resistance against an impact force applied from the rear side of the vehicle, and can improve the safety of the vehicle by effectively dispersing the transferred impact force. SOLUTION: The structure of the rear side portion of the vehicle according to the present invention for achieving the purpose described above is characterized in that the structure includes rear side members which are formed in a straight line shape along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and in parallel with side sills, front reinforcing plates and rear reinforcing plates for connecting the rear side members and side sills respectively at the overlapping portions of the rear side members and the side sills on the front side and the rear side of the vehicle, and floor panels which are connected to the upper side of the rear side members and the side sills, and form closed cross sections together with the front reinforcing plates and the rear reinforcing plates respectively.
