PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection circuit of high frequency input signals, which has high detection efficiency and a wide dynamic range. SOLUTION: A coupler part 11 and a matching circuit part 12 are provided in a preceding stage of a detection diode 13 connected in series to a transmission line of high frequency input signals, and a distribution output of the coupler part 11 is detected by a detection part 16 and is amplified by a control circuit part 17 to obtain a control voltage of the matching circuit part 12, which changed in accordance with an input signal level, and the impedance of the transmission line is automatically controlled in accordance with the input signal level.
