PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver, in which fundamental wave components or harmonic components of the oscillated frequency causes no noise on the frequency received, by driving a DC-DC power unit with the oscillated frequency which does not interfere with the received frequency of broadcast radio wave. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver is provided with an oscillating frequency selecting means 6 for selecting the oscillated frequency fOS, corresponding to the received frequency fR of the radio waves received and generating a switching power supply with the selected oscillating frequency fOS, to thereby suppress the noise caused by the harmonic component of the oscillated frequency fOS interfering with the received frequency fR of the received radio waves.
