PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a charnel opening cover for a grave capable of positively holding the closed state of the cover at ordinary times, opening the cover when laying the ashes to rest even in the case both sides of a charnel opening are narrow, and preventing the ashes from being stolen. SOLUTION: Mounting base parts 18a of support members 18 are stuck to both side upper parts of the charnel opening 6a of the grave 1. Locking members 19 are inserted in through-holes 18b of the support members 18 on both sides, and the tips are inserted and locked into locking holes 7a in both side upper parts of the cover 7 of the charnel opening 6a. The locking members 19 on both sides are respectively locked and fixed in the through holes 18b of the support members 18 by locking screws 21 with the heads covered with detachment preventive implements 20.
