PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable shoelace tightening device with fine sight for quickly, easily and surely tightening a shoelace. SOLUTION: The fitting part 3 of the turning member 5 of the shoelace tightening device 1 is fitted and connected to a rotatable cap 24 which is the operation rotary body of a tightening member 22 for winding and tightening the shoelace, and the fitting part 3 is the connection part of the rotatable cap 24 of a driving means. An operation cord 11 which is the driving means of the turning member is pulled out, the turning member 5 is rotated and a spring 10 inside the turning member 5 is energized. The rotatable cap 24 through the fitting part is rotated by the rotation of the turning member, the tightening member 22 is quickly rotated, and the tightening member 22 is rotated for several tens of times by several times of pull-out back and forth movements of the operation cord 11.
