PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretcher capable of being operated by a limited number of people and safely and easily lifting a person to be helped because of highly stable mechanization even in a small sickroom or around a bed. SOLUTION: The stretcher 10 is provided with a pair of drawers 12 which can be taken in and out in the inside on both sides in a longitudinal direction of a roughly rectangle flat box-shaped main body 11. A frame composed of a vertical material 13 at a center part in the longitudinal direction and many horizontal materials 14 perpendicular to it is provided inside the main body 11, the drawer 12 composed of many roughly rectangular plates 15 and a connection plate 16 connecting one side of them is provided between the horizontal materials 14, a plurality of handles 17 are provided on the connection plate 16 exposed to the outside of the main body, and a guide part 18 capable of sliding the side face of the plate 15 is provided on the horizontal materials 14. The stretcher is provided with a bite preventing device 19 for connecting a beam body 20 moved only in a parallel direction in contact with the vertical material 13 and the plurality of plates 15 by the rod body 21 of the same length freely movably at both ends at the same angle and moving the drawer 12 while keeping a parallel distance to the vertical material 13.
