PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pheromone dissipation system capable of efficiently and uniformly dissipating an insect pheromone over the whole pheromone-dissipation area with a simple and inexpensive apparatus. SOLUTION: Diluted pheromone obtained by diluting an insect pheromone with an alcohol is dissipated from each pheromone dispenser 4 of the pheromone dissipation system 1, the alcohol concentration is measured by alcohol concentration sensors 8(1)-8(4) of each pheromone dispenser 4, the wind direction and wind velocity are predicted and the dissipation amount of the diluted pheromone from each pheromone dispenser 4 is controlled by a controller 3 based on the measured results. The diluted pheromone is dissipated uniformly in high efficiency over the whole pheromone-dissipation area with the apparatus having a simple and inexpensive structure compared with the direct detection of the insect pheromone or the use of a vane anemometer.
