PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment capable of easily changing network setting so that service provided by a service providing apparatus connected to a network is automatically received without changing the network setting by a user. SOLUTION: PCs 22 to 2n start software for detecting that a network terminal 21 is connected to the network on the basis of an operation by the user. The network terminal 21, when it is connected to the network 11, notifies each PC of a connection signal and then operates as a DHCP server. The PCs 22 to 2n which receive the connection signal 3 learns an IP address of the network terminal 21 included in the connection signal 3, operates as a DHCP client and performs the network setting of itself using an IP address allocated from the DHCP server having the same IP address as the IP address of the network terminal 21.
