The drill adapter (28) has a clamping device for releasable attachment to the tool end of a screwdriver tool (4), with a sleeve (30) fitting over a cylindrical section (66) of the latter and a drill chuck (32) for reception of a drill bit, a torque transfer device coupling the drill chuck with the tool spindle (12) of the screwdriver tool and a setting element having an axial stop (46) acting against the tool spindle for operation of a drive coupling (10) for the tool spindle.
