<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction apparatus for forming an image with optimum productivity in response to a processing time of an arithmetic processing processor. <P>SOLUTION: The multifunction apparatus includes: a display / designation means whereby an operator designates processing contents; an arithmetic processing means for processing image data; and a processing control means for revising / setting the processing contents of the arithmetic processing means on the basis of the processing contents designated by the display / designation means, and displays number of output page information per minute decided depending on the processing contents of the arithmetic processing means.
