PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reconfigurable LSI capable of coping with a malfunction found by searching it even while the LSI is operating, and to provide a driving method for the same. SOLUTION: In the reconfigurable LSI comprising a plurality of blocks capable of mounting various logics, a first wiring for connecting the blocks electrically, a first wiring switching circuit capable of switching the connection of the first wiring, and an inspection circuit, the blocks comprises a plurality of cells, the logic functions of which is determined corresponding to control signals, a second wiring for electrically connecting the cells, and a second wiring switching circuit capable of switching the connection of the second wiring, an address memory circuit, and a cell control circuit. The inspection circuit inspects the cells, and transfers the functions of the working cells to the vacant cells for which the inspection are finished.
