PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type tea field working machine which can position the inter-truck width center of a travel apparatus at the inter-ridge width direction center of an implement synchronously with the adjustment of a width between a pair of right and left travel apparatus tracks. SOLUTION: This riding type tea field working machine comprising a vehicle main body composed of gate type frames 7, 7 for spanning a tea ridge, a travel apparatus connected to the vehicle main body to travel between tea ridges, and an implement for performing tea field works as a tea leaf-plucking work, wherein the inter-truck width of the travel apparatus is adjusted by adjusting the distance between the gate type frames 7, 7 in the tea ridge width direction with an inter-track width-adjusting means 22, is characterized in that the implement is supported in a state capable of being moved in the tea ridge width direction on an adjusting frame 21a adjustable in the tea ridge width direction in interlock with the inter-track width-adjusting means 22, and a tea ridge width direction moving means 29 moves the implement in a length of L/2 in the adjusting direction of the adjusting frame 21a, when the adjusting frame 21a is adjusted in a length of L in interlock with the inter-truck width adjusting means 22.
