PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the popularization of a guide plate for a visually handicapped person to facilities etc., by providing the guide plate for the visually handicapped person with an advertisement. SOLUTION: The guide plate has a combination of a guide display section 12 and an advertisement section 13. The guide display section 12 is a plate engraved with stripe-form upheaval objects forming a tactility figure and upheaval object ruggedness right above the dots representing braille on the surface of a transparent plate. The advertisement section 13 is a plate displayed with merchandise of an advertiser of an enterprise etc., or services. The guide display section 12 is superposed on the plate surface of the advertisement section 13 and is seen through the guide display section 12. The guide plate for the sight handicapped person is effectively utilized as the advertisement plate and advertising rates are collected from the advertiser and the advertising revenues are apportioned to installation expenses of the guide plate for the visually handicapped person. The burden on the installation expenses of the guide plate for the visually handicapped person is thus reduced and the installation of the guide plate for the visually handicapped person is promoted.
